Plans, subscription & billing

Choose a plan, monitor usage, upgrade or downgrade, and manage billing.

Each site has its own subscription. Manage it from the site's Subscription screen, and compare options on the pricing page.

Plans

Plans run from a perpetual Free tier through Growth, Scale and Pro, then Business (priced to your session volume) and Enterprise (custom). Current prices are on the pricing page; billing is monthly or annual, with annual discounted.

What a plan limits

  • Monthly Sessions and Monthly Responses (survey and feedback submissions).
  • Replays stored per month.
  • How many heatmaps, feedback forms, surveys, A/B tests, optin forms, funnels and custom events you can have.
  • Error logs — off entirely on the Free plan, and available at increasing detail on paid plans.
  • Data retention — how far back your history goes.
  • Seats — how many people can be on the site.

Higher tiers make several of these unlimited rather than merely larger.

Limits are per site, not per account. Each site carries its own subscription, so adding a second site means a second plan — this catches out agencies who expect one Pro plan to cover a portfolio.

Monitor usage

The subscription overview shows usage bars for each limit, colour-coded as you approach (amber) or exceed (red) your allowance, plus Total Storage, what's Free Included, and your Estimated Monthly Storage Cost.

The limit that runs out first is almost always Monthly Sessions. Usage counters run on the calendar month and reset on the 1st — which is not necessarily your billing date, so a mid-month plan change won't reset your counters. If a limit is exceeded, the affected collection is capped rather than your account being suspended: replay uploads stop being stored, and you're blocked from creating additional heatmaps, surveys, tests and so on. The symptom is missing data, not an outage.

Upgrade or downgrade

  1. Open Subscription and choose to change plan.
  2. Adjust your expected sessions/usage; pricing updates accordingly.
  3. Review the proration: upgrades are charged today (prorated); downgrades credit your next cycle.
  4. Confirm. The new plan and next billing date are shown.

Billing

  • View your billing history and invoices.
  • Update your payment card via the secure billing portal.
  • Choose monthly or annual billing.
Watch the usage bars near the end of your billing period — if you're consistently near a limit, upgrading avoids capped data collection.
