AI insights overview
How Spectry's AI surfaces problems, prioritises them, and what each insight contains.
AI insights continuously analyse your analytics, errors, behaviour signals and performance to surface problems that hurt conversions — and recommend what to do about them. Insights regenerate periodically, and you can refresh manually.
The insights screen
- Summary cards: total insights and a breakdown by severity.
- An AI-written summary of the key problems on your site.
- A filterable list (All / Open / Acknowledged / Resolved / Dismissed).
Severity
- Critical (red) — severe impact on experience or revenue.
- Warning (yellow) — moderate issues worth attention.
- Info (blue) — observations and opportunities.
What's in an insight
- Evidence — the concrete signals behind it (error counts, rage/dead clicks, slow LCP/INP, field errors).
- Business impact — why it matters, often with estimated revenue at risk and affected sessions.
- Quoted elements — the specific page elements involved.
- Session replays — where the evidence came from a real session, Watch opens the replay player at that session. This is the fastest way to sanity-check an insight before acting on it.
- A/B Test Idea — a suggested experiment with hypothesis and expected lift. Create A/B test turns it into a real A/B test, pre-filled and left in Draft for you to review.
- Content Suggestions — proposed copy shown as before → after, so you can see exactly what would change.
- Recommendation — a concrete fix.
Where to focus
Above the list, Where to focus is the AI's ranked read of your site right now — the short version to check when you don't have time to read every insight.
Managing insights
Mark an insight as Acknowledged, Resolved or Dismissed to keep your list focused. The filter tabs count each state, so a growing "Open" pile is visible without opening anything.
Resolved insights get checked
Marking something Resolved is not the end of it. Spectry re-measures the same signal afterwards and badges the insight with what actually happened:
- Verified: improved X% — the metric moved the right way after your fix.
- Verified: unchanged — no measurable difference. The fix may have been cosmetic, or the insight may have misdiagnosed the cause.
- Regressed X% since resolving — it got worse. Worth reopening.
This is the part most teams skip when doing this by hand, and it's the only thing that separates "we shipped a fix" from "we fixed it".
Generation & cadence
Insights regenerate periodically — Next report in shows the countdown — and you can refresh manually. You can also enable a weekly digest so the summary arrives by email instead of waiting for you to visit.
A new site will show Not enough data until there's enough traffic to say anything defensible. That's the system declining to guess, not a failure.
