Resources/AI Insights/The CRO profile

The CRO profile

Give the AI context about your business so its recommendations are specific, not generic.

The CRO profile tells the AI what your site sells, who visits, and what conversion success looks like. With it, insights and recommendations become specific to your business instead of generic best-practice advice. Configure it in Settings → CRO profile.

CRO profile settings

Core fields

  • Industry — e.g. E-commerce, SaaS, Finance, Healthcare, Travel, Media, etc.
  • Primary conversion goal — e.g. Purchase, Sign up, Start free trial, Book a demo, Request a quote.
  • Target audience — Consumer, Small business, Mid-market or Enterprise.
  • Niche / what you sell — a short free-text description.

Page-type mapping (optional)

Map URL patterns to page types so the AI applies the right playbook per page — Home, Landing, Product listing (PLP), Product detail (PDP), Cart, Checkout, Pricing, or Other. For example, map ^/checkout to Checkout. Defaults work for most sites.

Auto-detection

Spectry can auto-detect a starting profile from your site content. If you see "Auto-detected — please review", confirm or adjust it and save; it then shows as "Saved by you".

A complete, accurate profile is the single biggest lever for better insight quality.
