Applying a segment everywhere
One segment selection follows you across every report, per site.
Once a segment exists, you rarely want it on only one screen. Spectry keeps a single active segment per site and applies it across your reports, so you can pick "mobile · paid" once and read the whole dashboard through it.
How it works
- Choose a segment from the selector and every report that supports segmentation reloads with it applied.
- The choice is remembered per site and survives a page reload, so it's still there when you come back tomorrow.
- Switching sites doesn't carry the segment across — each site keeps its own.
- Pick All visitors to clear it.
Where it applies
Analytics (Audience, Behaviour, Performance, User journeys, Retention), heatmaps, conversion funnels, A/B test results and alerts.
If your numbers look unexpectedly small, check the segment selector first. A segment left applied from last week is the single most common explanation for "our traffic collapsed" — and because the selection persists, it is easy to forget it's there.
Comparing audiences
The fastest way to compare two audiences is to read the same screen twice, switching the segment between them. Mobile against desktop, paid against organic, new against returning — the difference in a funnel's drop-off step usually tells you more than any single absolute number.
