Hand out unique discount codes from a pool, and use wheel or scratch blocks to reveal them.

Rather than showing every visitor the same discount code, Spectry can draw a unique code from a pool you upload — so codes can be single-use, and you can tell exactly which lead received which code.

Coupon pools

  1. Generate the codes in your ecommerce platform (Shopify, WooCommerce, your own backend). Spectry hands out codes; it does not create discounts.
  2. Create a pool and import the codes as CSV.
  3. Point a form's coupon success action at the pool.

Each code is claimed atomically before the lead is written, so the same code is never handed to two visitors — even under a burst of simultaneous submissions. The pool view shows how many codes are claimed and how many remain.

Watch the remaining count. When a pool runs dry the success action has nothing to hand out. Import a new batch before a campaign peak.

Gamified blocks

Two block types turn the reveal into an interaction:

  • Wheel — a spin-to-win wheel with segments you label and weight.
  • Scratch — a scratch-off panel hiding the prize.

How the draw actually works

Three things are worth understanding before you build one:

  • The submit button is the spin trigger. There is no separate "spin" control — submitting the step runs the game. Do not add a second button expecting it to spin.
  • The outcome is drawn on the server, from the segment weights you configured, at the moment of submission. The animation only plays back a result that has already been decided, so the odds cannot be manipulated in the browser.
  • A game block must be on the last step. Publishing a form with a game on a non-final step is rejected — the draw has nowhere to deliver its result.

Losing segments

A wheel can include segments that win nothing. Whether a spin won is decided by the draw result itself, not by whether a coupon code came back — so a "better luck next time" segment is a legitimate configuration, and the lead is still captured.

Is gamification worth it?

Games reliably lift submission rates and just as reliably attract discount-seekers. Watch the downstream numbers, not just the optin conversion rate: if game-sourced leads convert to purchase far worse than form-sourced ones, the lift is not real. Segment your audience by source and compare.
